I knew Caroline in the final few years of her life, when I got involved with Christian CND. Her passion for the subject of disarmament was palpable, and she generated ideas at a prodigious rate. Together with Mike's wise influence she was always a central figure in any meeting of our group. I am grateful and enriched by the few years we worked together and I thank God for her life. We have greatly appreciated Caroline as the most warm, fun, interesting and colourful next-door neighbour. We will miss our chats over the garden fence and seeing her buzz round in her little red camper van, but we do have one of her prints in our living room and so, in lots of ways, she will always be remembered.
